Wang Lab received Cyclone Research Partnership Grant from College of Engineering to investigate transport mechanisms of nanoparticles across intestinal epithelium. Understanding how nanoparticles can be transport through digestive tract epithelium, and how transport behavior can be manipulated through chemical modification to the nanoparticles will provide critical knowledge on future design and development of effective drug and/or vaccine delivery systems for oral administration.
