Working with Dr. Mansell (PI), Dr. Wang has been awarded the National Institutes of Health (NIH)/ National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) Exploratory Research R21. Wang Lab and Mansell Lab will work together to co-culture engineered probiotic bacteria to accurately monitor and actively influence the development of intestinal epithelial cells in 3D culture.
